McLaren's Lewis Hamilton says Friday practice in Abu Dhabi was "a great day" for McLaren as he tops the timings in second practice ahead of team-mate Jenson Button.
Hamilton was in good spirits after "a positive day", but said he was taking things "one day at a time".
Hamilton was on course to win the inaugural race in Abu Dhabi in 2009 before suffering a brake problem, and finished second to Sebastian Vettel last year as the German was crowned world champion
