Ferrari's Fernando Alonso says the German Grand Prix was one of the best races of the season, despite finishing second behind McLaren's Lewis Hamilton at the Nurburgring.
Alonso also praises his team's consistency after securing a podium finish for the third straight race.
The double world champion also outlined why it is important for McLaren to be strong if he is to have any chance of overhauling Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel in the world championship race
