Bernie Ecclestone reckons Red Bull deserve to win the World title after such an impressive job turning the team's fortunes around.
Red Bull purchased the former Jaguar Racing team - a lower midfield outfit - at the end of the 2004 Championship and have subsequently turned the team into regular race winners.
Last year the team also found themselves fighting Brawn GP for the World titles but eventually lost out to Ross Brawn's outfit at the penultimate race of the season.
However, the team has come back strong this season with Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel taking the fight to McLaren.
But if he had a choice, F1 supremo Ecclestone says he would like to see Red Bull claim the ultimate glory.
"Red Bull bought a team that wasn't any good," he told City AM. "It's not like they bought Ferrari."
As for the Bulls two drivers, Ecclestone has long made it know that he's supporting Vettel for the Drivers' Championship but that doesn't mean he isn't impressed by what Webber has done.
"Mark has done a great job," he said. "I would never have believed it at the start of the year if somebody had said he was going to do this."
