The winner gives sympathy for Kimi

The Swedish rally winner Mikko Hirvonen shared compassion for WRC-newcomer Kimi Räikkönen.

- There were certainly not easy conditions. Kimi surely noticed the challenge what he has ahead of him. It is not easy to drive from a note, Hirvonen stated.

- But what I had time to see, Kimi had some really good times there. Like we saw, he can drive. Let's see how Mexico goes because that is once again a completely different rally when we go on gravel.

- Here in Sweden the snowbanks can excuse you a little bit. Although Kimi wasn't excused in any way since he had a lot of that shovel-work to do, Hirvonen pondered.
