Senna fined for speeding in pit lane

Hispania Racing driver Bruno Senna has been fined for speeding in the Circuit de Catalunya pit lane during Spanish Grand Prix practice on Friday.

Brazilian Senna was handed the fine after FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting informed the race stewards of the incident, which was confirmed in Race Control.

Having navigated down the pit lane during Practice 1 at 66.1km/h (41mph) as opposed to the speed limit of 60km/h (37.3mph), the nephew of late 3-time World Champion Ayrton is handed with a fine of €1,400 (£1,200 approx).
