Qualifying for the Monaco GP kept to form as Mark Webber put his Red Bull racer onto pole position, the team's sixth of the season
Although it appeared as if Robert Kubica would put an end to Red Bull's qualifying domination, Webber came up with a blindingly quick lap to steal the P1 slot from the Polish driver.
Kubica tried to fight back, however, Webber just responded with another even faster lap, assuring Red Bull's reign continued with his 1:13.826.
Sebastian Vettel will line up third on the grid ahead of Felipe Massa and Lewis Hamilton while the two Merc GPs are sixth and seventh with Nico Rosberg ahead of Michael Schumacher.
Meanwhile, qualifying started a driver short after Ferrari confirmed that Fernando Alonso would not be able to take part due to the "extensive" damage his F10 suffered in his Practice Three crash. He will start the race from the pit lane.
And despite massive complaints ahead of qualifying about the potential traffic due to the increased field, there was little sign that it was any worse than previous years. All that moaning for nothing!
