The man of 'strategies' at Ferrari pitwall

Interviewed by Leo Turrini

Some interesting words also from Luca Baldisserri

- ME AND KIMI 1: Listen, once upon a time when Raikkonen was already here with us, Sch. came close to me and told me: "Look at the telemetry, there are some curves that Kimi does in an incredible way, only him is able to do that." So, there is no question about the Finnish, as a driver, he has an extraordinary talent.

- ME AND KIMI 2: In my opionion, after he won the 2007 title, he gave up a little bit. He was satisfied, he reached the dream of his life. I don't say he had no motivation, but some motivations became weaker. More, in 2008 he was unlucky: in Montreal Hamilton crashed on him, in Silverstone I made a stupid mistake with the tyres and he lost points because of me, in France he was winning without the exhausted problem.

- ME AND KIMI 3: For sure he didn't help himself, inside the team. He's a good guy, but he spoke to Stella only. Even in 2007, when Dyer was his race engineer, Kimi just spoke with his car engineer, Stella! I don't know, he has a very particular character. But I repeat, there is no question about him as a driver.

- ME AND KIMI 4: In my opinion he doesn't come back in F1, anymore. He's enjoying with rallies, now he has other in his mind. I don't see him in F1 in 2011. He hasn't got the same Sch.'s obsessions.

Baldisseri is a puppet and isnt allowed to talk freely but Stella and Dyre did. And they contradicted Stefano and Montezemolo in their critique that Kimi doesnt 'develop cars'.

Horse shit.

I work in the motosport engineering industry, there is no such thing as driver development. This word is even wrong to be used in this way.

In engineering 'development' means conceiving a concept, designing it and the manufacturing of the part. And here we have two clowns from Maranello trying to tell the world that somehow Alonso knows aerodynamics, engine works and has several technical journal publications to himself. No driver knows anything in this field. They are not engineers, they dont understand how things work. They know no better than the most tech savvy armchair fans out there to be honest. That is why we have qualified engineers who have the academic background and research experience.

This is not some hobbyist style thing that you can pick up hanging around in the garage. You put a computer together at home, doesnt make you a computer engineer. You repair a go-kart in your backyard doesnt make you a mechanical engineer.

No driver can develop anything they can only give feedback, and more than half the F1 grid today can do this decently enough.

Its the ignorant press that makes up half of this bullshit.

As for Kimi's motivation it suddenly came up when massa was out of the way? This may satisfy a few kimi haters and ignoramuses. But there is a technical reason every time. The reason here being Kimi was finally being attended to. He didnt change before or after massa's accident. They just started to do what they should have one back in 2008. That is support the right man, back the right horse.

They backed the wrong horse for two years.

You have to ask are they the prancing horse and the Farting Horse? The latter if you ask me.
